2 days agoby blanketfortadventuresSTORY TIME I love Elote aka Mexican Corn, and this fancy restaurant elote didn't hold a candle to the ones my old neighborhood street vendor would bring around. . . When I was a kid we had a regular guy in our neighorhood, but by my teen years I wouldn't see him come around as much. He would walk down the street, honking the horn to alert my tastebuds that the special corn was here and my heart would light up. We are now two weeks into the new year, and although I made zero resolutions. I haven't necessarily leveled up like I wanted to do, so I recalibrated the scales and am refocusing my mind to make the choices which serve my "big life dreams" and not my "instant desires - ie: hitting the snooze button" .
